Medical Receptionist – Kerikeri

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our busy Kerikeri clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting the administrative needs of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check‑in patients on arrival.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to enquiries.
• Book appointments both over the phone and in person.
• Invoice patients, collect fees and handle cash transactions.
• Perform a range of administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Motivated, problem‑solving attitude with a commitment to excellent patient care.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to think innovatively.
• Kind, caring and courteous to patients and staff.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

Required skills

• Experience with Medtech Evolution or similar medical practice software.
• Proficient computer skills for scheduling, invoicing and record keeping.
