Medical Receptionist (Full‑time, Silverdale)

About the role

Join the friendly team at Allevia Radiology’s Silverdale branch as a Medical Receptionist. This permanent, full‑time position involves being the first point of contact for patients and clinicians, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations in a busy diagnostic imaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow and coordinate with clinicians.
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries accurately.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails and manage general administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reception, customer service or scheduling, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, calm and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with the COMRAD software is a plus.
