About the role
We are looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy team in Birkenhead, Auckland. This full‑time, on‑site position blends excellent customer service with daily administrative duties and support for the clinical team.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming first point of contact.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments and manage inquiries.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and handling correspondence.
- Assist the medical team with paperwork, records and other support activities.
- Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, email).
