Mechanical Site Supervisor / HVAC Foreman

About the role

Apex Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor / HVAC Foreman to lead the installation of commercial HVAC, ductwork, pipework and mechanical services on a landmark hotel development in Queenstown. This hands‑on leadership position requires strong practical knowledge and the ability to manage site activities while ensuring quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities and schedule work packages.
• Manage labour forces and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
• Maintain quality and safety standards across all mechanical installations.
• Conduct QA inspections of installed HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, identifying and resolving installation issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical services.
• Previous role as a Foreman, Supervisor or Site Lead.
• Ability to read drawings and spot installation problems.
• Commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Strong team‑leadership and problem‑solving attitude.
