Mechanical Engineer - Production Engineering

About the role
Halter is seeking a mid‑senior Mechanical Engineer to own the full lifecycle of its production engineering infrastructure. You will work hands‑on to design, deploy and scale critical fixtures and automation stations that support the manufacturing of high‑volume, automated cattle collars.
Key responsibilities
- Design robust, semi‑automated production stations and machinery.
- Integrate precision mechanisms and collaborate with electrical, firmware and quality teams.
- Lead tooling specification, sourcing, validation and qualification.
- Develop and scale manufacturing processes to meet global demand.
- Enhance supply‑chain resilience through collaborative tool design with vendors.
Required profile
- Mid‑senior level Mechanical Engineer with hands‑on experience in production environments.
- Proven ability to take concepts from design through to global implementation.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings.
