About the role
We are looking for a motivated Mechanic/Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Ohaupo. The role involves supporting the day‑to‑day operation of our engineering and fabrication facilities, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and plant machinery.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and implement effective repairs.
- Fabricate, modify and install components using workshop tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers to plan preventive‑maintenance schedules.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, maintenance technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and fabrication within an industrial environment.
- Ability to work on‑site full‑time in a dynamic, fast‑changing setting.
- Strong problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
