About the role

Epsom Girls Grammar School, a large secondary school for girls in central Auckland, is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher for its secondary cohort. The successful candidate will join a vibrant faculty of 29 staff members and will be expected to teach NCEA Levels 1‑3 as well as Cambridge IGCSE courses.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for students aged 13‑18.
• Prepare students for NCEA and Cambridge qualifications.
• Contribute to the school’s extensive co‑curricular programme through coaching or managing teams.
• Collaborate with the Learning Area Director and other teachers to enhance teaching practice.
• Participate in the immigration Straight‑to‑Residency visa pathway for secondary teachers.

Required profile

• Qualified classroom teacher currently teaching 13‑18 year olds.
• NZ Teacher registration or the ability to obtain it.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Team‑player with a collaborative mindset.
• Available for an interview in London (8‑9 July) or Manchester (11‑12 July).
