Marketing & Communications Advisor (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Communications Advisor to join our Corporate Communications team in Wellington. This full‑time, fixed‑term position runs until August 2027 and focuses on planning and delivering marketing and communications initiatives for Greater Wellington’s corporate groups.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and evaluation of marketing and communications projects aligned with organisational objectives.
• Create engaging internal communications that build staff understanding and connection.
• Produce timely, high‑quality communications collateral that adheres to brand standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations across teams.
• Incorporate customer and performance insights into planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a marketing and communications role.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
• Understanding of te ao Māori concepts and tikanga.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
