Market Head – New Zealand

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Market Head to lead its New Zealand consumer business. You will be responsible for growing the Dyson brand as an innovative, technology‑led premium offering, driving market share, sales and profitability across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the NZ business to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Develop and execute channel strategies that optimise retail opportunities and align with NZ growth targets.
• Deliver monthly sales volumes, monitor budgets and communicate changes to the ANZ leadership team.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PR, RGM and Finance to create integrated growth plans.
• Control promotional spend to achieve best ROI through a transparent approval process.
• Own the monthly volume forecast and validate the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) plan for NZ.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing NZ sales team, including succession and development planning.
• Manage national accounts and field sales teams, negotiate major trading agreements and drive defensible trading strategies.
• Lead retail transformation initiatives and champion key customer projects such as category management and in‑store execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a consumer business or market in New Zealand.
• Strong network and deep understanding of NZ retail landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to grow market share, sales and profit sustainably.
• Track record of building and coaching high‑performing sales teams.
• Strategic decision‑making capability with a focus on long‑term business growth.
