Marine Supervisor

About the role

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Marine Supervisor to lead daily marine and civil construction activities on a major water infrastructure project in Wellington. You will coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant, and equipment to ensure the project meets specifications, drawings, and programme requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily marine and civil construction works on site.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts, subcontractors, plant, and equipment.
• Monitor safety performance and enforce HSE policies and procedures.
• Manage site productivity, resource allocation, and work sequencing.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre‑start meetings, and regular site inspections.
• Ensure completion of quality assurance documentation and ITP requirements.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise project delays.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Civil Supervisor role.
• Proven experience on marine, water‑infrastructure, coastal, wharf, jetty, pipeline, or related civil construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Full New Zealand working rights.
