Manager, Vulnerability Management

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, the Manager, Vulnerability Management will strengthen Fonterra’s security posture by overseeing the full lifecycle of vulnerability identification, prioritisation, and remediation across a complex technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritise security vulnerabilities and exposures using a risk‑based approach.
• Translate threat intelligence and vulnerability data into clear, actionable remediation plans aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with internal infrastructure, application, cloud and OT teams, as well as external vendors, to drive timely remediation.
• Enable informed decision‑making by providing transparent reporting on vulnerability status and risk.
• Ensure remediation activities are executed with pace and precision to protect the co‑op’s assets.

Required profile

• Experienced vulnerability management professional with a strong foundation in information security or IT.
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in vulnerability management frameworks, lifecycle processes, and configuration/patch management in large enterprise and OT environments.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority and communicate technical risks to non‑technical stakeholders.
