Manager, Controls Advisory & Assurance

About the role

KPMG is seeking an experienced Manager to lead its Controls Advisory & Assurance practice. You will work with financial services and corporate clients, delivering internal audit, control, and risk engagements while shaping the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver internal audit, controls, and risk engagements for financial services and corporate clients.
• Partner directly with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance and control environments.
• Coach, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Contribute to business development, proposal creation, and expansion of client relationships.
• Provide visibility across industries, engaging with senior decision‑makers on high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in internal audit, controls, risk, or assurance, preferably within financial services or corporates.
• Proven track record of managing engagements and building senior client relationships.
• Commercial mindset with experience supporting growth initiatives and proposals.
• Critical thinker who can translate complexity into clear solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with senior stakeholders.
