Management Accountant

About the role

EBOS Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and partnering closely with Commercial Managers, you will own core management accounting functions across multiple business units, with a primary focus on the Contract Logistics segment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting packs, commentary and variance analysis for allocated business units.
• Post journals, execute month‑end adjustments and support group submissions.
• Collaborate on budgets, forecasts and re‑forecasts with Finance and Commercial Managers.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control, including reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support CAPEX projects, working‑capital reporting and audit processes.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within finance.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent).
• Currently employed in a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional services firm and looking to move into industry.
• Multiple years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in logistics, distribution or a high‑volume operational environment.
• Proven month‑end close experience, including journal preparation and reporting pack delivery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
