Machine Operator – Food & Manufacturing (East & South Auckland)

About the role

PERSOL is seeking experienced Machine Operators for temporary and permanent positions in food, beverage, FMCG and manufacturing environments across East and South Auckland. The role focuses on safe, high‑quality, and consistent production in fast‑paced settings.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production, processing or packaging machinery.
• Monitor machinery performance and conduct quality checks.
• Perform product or line changeovers and basic machine adjustments.
• Record output, downtime and production data, and report any faults.
• Clean and sanitize machinery and work areas following food safety and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating machines in food, beverage, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Ability to set up, operate and monitor production equipment.
• Confidence in completing basic adjustments and changeovers.
• Experience meeting production and quality targets.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and GMP requirements.
• Flexibility to work morning, afternoon or night shifts.
