Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Logistics Specialist to own day‑to‑day import and export operations and drive cost‑efficient logistics performance across our global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end global import and export processes, including freight booking, tracking and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate sea and air freight movements with forwarders and direct shipping contracts to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
• Handle logistics queries, freight quote requests and KPI management for forwarders.
• Collaborate with global sales offices, planning, distribution and DC teams to support continuous supply‑chain improvement.
• Contribute to capacity planning, freight mode optimisation and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in international freight and logistics (air and sea).
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain management, cost control and freight optimisation.
• Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing global environment.
• Proactive, accountable and solutions‑focused with strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
