About the role

OneLegal is seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join its Auckland team. The role offers direct exposure to court proceedings, client interaction, and enforcement actions, focusing on property‑related disputes and civil recovery matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage active litigation cases, including property disputes and civil recovery.
  • Prepare and file court documents, caveats, and enforcement applications.
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates, gather information, and advise on legal strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and senior lawyers to develop structured workflow processes.
  • Represent the firm in court hearings and enforcement proceedings.

Required profile

  • Qualified lawyer with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Experience handling property disputes, recovery actions, and civil litigation.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining direct contact with senior leadership.
