Linehaul Driver – Night Shift (Class 5)

About the role

Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join its Wellington branch on a night‑shift schedule (Monday‑Friday, 7 pm – 5:30 am). You will be responsible for safe, on‑time collection and delivery of freight for a key customer, supporting the company’s commitment to reliable e‑commerce logistics across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight manually or with a forklift, ensuring no damage occurs.
• Scan every item handled to maintain accurate tracking.
• Complete pickups and deliveries within agreed time windows and in full.
• Follow all safety processes and operate the vehicle in a legal, safe manner.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness both inside and out.

Required profile

• Clean, full NZ Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Dangerous Goods endorsement.
• Forklift licence with OSH certification.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven experience driving on New Zealand roads.
