Line Station Engineer (LSE) – Wellington

About the role

Jetstar is seeking a Line Station Engineer (LSE) to join its New Zealand Engineering team in Wellington. You will deliver line‑maintenance services for Jetstar and partner airlines, ensuring aircraft are airworthy, safely released, and compliant with all regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line‑maintenance tasks on A220, A320 and B737 aircraft, including inspections, defect rectification and component replacement.
• Document all maintenance actions, maintain accurate records, and ensure parts are ordered and available when needed.
• Work closely with specialist teams to uphold safety, quality, reliability and service standards.
• Adhere to the operator’s AOC and relevant aviation regulations throughout all activities.

Required profile

• Valid B1 or B2 CASA Aircraft Engineer licence (or New Zealand/overseas equivalent).
• Type rating for one or more of the following: A220, A320, B737.
• Excellent time‑management, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Driver’s Licence.
• Availability to work 30+ hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts (24/7 coverage).
