Legal Executive – Property Conveyancing (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Remote Legal Executive to support property transactions across New Zealand. You will work in a fully online environment, handling conveyancing matters from instruction to settlement while providing clear, client‑focused legal information under lawyer supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review sale and purchase agreements, transfer documents and related property paperwork.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, real‑estate professionals and other parties to ensure smooth settlements.
• Conduct title searches and due‑diligence on property information.
• Monitor key dates, track progress and keep clients informed of requirements.
• Maintain accurate digital records and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in New Zealand property law and conveyancing legislation.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and managing legal documents related to property transactions.
• Relevant qualification (Legal Executive diploma, law degree or equivalent) and eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and ability to handle multiple files digitally.
• Professional, empathetic communication style.
