Lecturer – Nursing (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

The School of Nursing at Manukau Institute of Technology is seeking a motivated, registered Nurse with strong clinical experience to join our team as a full‑time Lecturer. This permanent position is based at the Manukau Campus and includes teaching, research, and clinical supervision of students across the greater Auckland area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes.
• Provide clinical supervision for nursing students, requiring travel within Auckland.
• Lead and collaborate with academic and clinical teams.
• Engage in research activities related to population health outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Current practising certificate and registration as a Nurse in New Zealand.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter with a sense of humour, patience and flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching diverse learners.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for travel to clinical sites.
