About the role
Join the supportive team at Ernest Rutherford Village, a Ryman retirement living community in Nelson. As a Laundry Assistant you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, comfortable environment for residents by handling all aspects of linen and personal clothing care.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient laundering, sorting and delivery of linen and residents' personal clothing.
- Observe all health and safety precautions to protect residents, staff and visitors.
- Work closely with colleagues and support the team in daily operations.
Required profile
- Strong empathy and a caring attitude towards residents.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, friendly and professional manner.
