KYC Specialist – Multiple Streams

About the role

Westpac is expanding its KYC team and is looking for experienced professionals to join three specialist streams. You will be the first point of contact for new customers, guiding them through a compliant and customer‑focused onboarding journey.

Key responsibilities

• Verify documentation, assess risk and ensure compliance for individual, digital, broker‑originated and business customers.
• Conduct due‑diligence and enhanced due‑diligence on complex entities such as trusts and companies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
• Monitor broker‑originated customers and support vulnerable customer groups using digital tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in KYC, onboarding or AML roles.
• Experience onboarding business customers or complex entities.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand AML/CFT regulations for legal entities.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills.
