Kitchen & Interior Designer – Auckland

About the role

LivSpace, part of Carters Building Supplies, is expanding its Auckland design team and seeks an experienced Kitchen and Interior Designer. You will create custom kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and other interior spaces for trade partners, group home customers and homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand preferences and design tailored kitchen and interior solutions.
• Produce production‑ready, detailed plans, specifications and material selections.
• Work with the Project Manager to convert consultations into sales and meet sales targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the manufacturing team to ensure successful execution of designs.
• Deliver an outstanding client experience from design through installation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven kitchen/interior design experience.
• Proficient in design software such as Imos IX Plan; experience with Cabinet Vision or AutoCAD is also valuable.
• Knowledge of New Zealand kitchen design standards and building legislation.
• High technical capability, strong customer‑relationship skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Organised, detail‑oriented with excellent time‑management and a positive, team‑player attitude.
