Junior Technical Solutions Engineer APAC

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Technical Solutions Engineer to support our APAC customers. The role is remote‑based and involves travelling across South‑East Asia, Australia and New Zealand to deliver technical solutions for public‑sector and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and present tailored technology solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos and professional proposals.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and technical queries from customers.
• Collaborate with product development to communicate new features and updates.
• Provide technical training to distributors and end‑users.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical engineering role, preferably in telecom or cloud solutions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand without sponsorship.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Linux Red Hat (general understanding).
• Network architecture: Private LTE, 5G.
• Protocols: SIP, Diameter, MRCP, TCP/IP, SS7 (ISUP, MAP, INAP).
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL.
• Mobile platforms: Android, iOS.
• Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Visio (or similar).
• Experience with RFI/RFP processes.
