Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

Badge King is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join its on‑site team in Henderson, Auckland. You will help create and refine badge designs, personalized products and related graphics, ensuring they meet client specifications and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare print‑ready files for badges, buttons, awards and plaques.
• Develop and adjust layouts, graphics and artwork based on client briefs.
• Collaborate with senior designers, production staff and sales/customer service teams to interpret design requests.
• Maintain visual consistency across a range of product types and meet production deadlines.
• Contribute creative ideas to expand the company’s product offerings.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles for both print and digital media.
• Experience or training in logo design and branding.
• Good understanding of typography, especially for small‑format designs.
• Attention to detail, time‑management skills and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Suite.
• Experience using Photoshop.
• Familiarity with Coral or similar design tools.
• Basic knowledge of preparing print‑ready files.
