IT Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst to join Education Payroll’s team in Wellington. In this hands‑on position you will help maintain and improve the technology that processes payments for schools and kura across Aotearoa, working directly with end‑users, internal systems and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and network issues via the service desk.
• Assist in the configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of core payroll systems.
• Liaise with third‑party vendors to resolve incidents and implement upgrades.
• Document incidents, resolutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and support scheduled maintenance windows.

Required profile

• Strong interest in IT service management and a desire to develop technical expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
