Investment Analyst – Responsible Investment

About the role

Join ANZ Investments as an Investment Analyst focused on responsible investment. You will help embed ESG principles across portfolios, work with internal teams and external managers, and support sustainable outcomes for customers and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with external investment managers and internal teams to assess and strengthen responsible investment practices across portfolios and asset classes.
• Analyse ESG and investment data, generate insights and support reporting for internal stakeholders and client‑facing teams.
• Contribute to stewardship activities, industry commitments and the delivery of ANZ Investments’ Responsible Investment programme.
• Collaborate with product, risk and investment teams to enhance responsible investment disclosures, communications and customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in responsible investment, investment research, portfolio analysis or manager selection and monitoring.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Proven relationship‑management skills and a collaborative approach.
• Self‑starter mindset, curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
• Interest in sustainability trends and the evolving role of ESG factors in investment decisions.
