International Recruitment Officer – India, Nepal & GCC

About the role

The International Recruitment Officer will drive growth of student enrolments from India, Nepal, the GCC and surrounding markets. Working closely with the Senior Regional Recruitment Manager, you will manage agent relationships, guide prospective students through the application process and support market development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through walk‑ins, emails, calls and CRM tools.
• Develop and expand recruitment opportunities via agents, partners and direct student engagement.
• Conduct consultations with prospective students and provide accurate programme and admission information.
• Represent the institution at education fairs, expos, seminars and recruitment events.
• Support international students throughout their enrolment journey and participate in orientation activities.
• Collaborate with academic and student support teams to ensure a seamless experience.
• Maintain compliance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice.
• Keep accurate student and agent records in CRM systems and prepare timely recruitment reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international student recruitment, education sales or consultancy, preferably within the New Zealand tertiary sector.
• Strong administration background with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; additional language skills from South India or GCC markets are highly regarded.
• Highly organised with strong relationship‑management and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
