About the role
We are looking for an intermediate or senior accountant to join our team in Whakatāne. The role blends traditional accounting with advisory work and a strong focus on AI integration.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Kiwi business clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.
- Provide high‑quality reviews to elevate the team’s output.
- Leverage AI tools in daily tasks and demonstrate AI proficiency during the interview process.
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership for mentorship in both advisory and AI initiatives.
Required profile
- Intermediate to senior level accounting experience.
- Strong analytical eye and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable using AI as a core part of work processes.
- Flexible and able to work remotely if not based in Whakatāne.
