ICT Technical Asset Coordinator

About the role
The ICT Technical Asset Coordinator will support the effective management of AUT’s technology assets. You will ensure optimal utilisation, cost efficiency and compliance across hardware, software and licensing while working closely with a wide range of university stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all ICT assets, including hardware, software and licences.
- Monitor asset utilisation and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and university policies.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards to support decision‑making.
- Liaise with procurement, finance and academic departments to coordinate asset acquisition and disposal.
- Support the implementation of asset management processes and tools.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in managing IT assets or similar inventory control functions.
