Human‑AI Interaction & UX Specialist – Intermediate (AI Community)

About the role

TELUS Digital is looking for a passionate Human‑AI Interaction & UX Specialist focused on digital mapping to join our remote team. You will analyze national and local geography of New Zealand to improve the quality of digital maps used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate geographic data: explore public sources, cartographic databases and online mapping tools to identify inconsistencies, gaps and errors.
• Verify and validate information: cross‑check data, flag anomalies and propose concrete corrections.
• Collaborate with the AI community: work closely with AI developers and researchers to feed user feedback into automated map‑improvement pipelines.
• Write clear reports in English: produce documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including optimisation recommendations and action plans.
• Contribute to digital mapping evolution: participate in code reviews, test cutting‑edge AI tools and join UX design workshops.

• Interest in UX and how users interact with digital maps.
