Human Resources Advisor – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

ACCIONA Construction New Zealand is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join its Greenlane office on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role provides generalist HR support and strategic advice across the construction business, helping to deliver major transport infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Apply employee‑relations principles to manage performance issues and grievances.
• Draft HR documentation under senior guidance and support enterprise‑agreement negotiations.
• Analyse workforce data to identify people risks and skill gaps.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HR systems.
• Assist with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience working as part of an HR team and managing others.
• Sound understanding of collective and wage agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of trust, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Current New Zealand driver’s licence.
