HR Administrator

About the role

Join the People & Culture team to shape a positive experience for candidates and employees throughout their journey with the organisation. As the BambooHR super‑user you will ensure employee data is accurate, secure and up‑to‑date while supporting recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit employee information in BambooHR, guaranteeing data quality and compliance.
• Provide first‑line support for HR policy, procedure and system queries from staff.
• Collaborate with payroll and the wider People & Culture team on recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Generate HR reports, monitor compliance and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Explore responsible use of technology, including AI, to streamline administration and improve information access.

Required profile

• 5+ years of administration experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• People‑focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professionalism, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to learn HR processes, employment requirements and to work in ways that respect te ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BambooHR (HR Information System).
