Hotel Reservations Agent

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Hotel Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team at Novotel Queenstown Lakeside. The role involves managing guest bookings, handling enquiries and ensuring a seamless reservation experience in a fast‑paced, 4‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process hotel room reservations via phone, email and online platforms.
• Respond promptly to guest queries, booking modifications and special requests.
• Maintain accurate records in the OPERA reservation system.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee a smooth guest journey.
• Ensure data accuracy and uphold brand‑standard service levels.
• Manage high volumes of correspondence while meeting service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in reservations, front office or customer service.
• Proficiency with OPERA or a similar hotel booking system.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• Valid visa to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• OPERA (hotel reservation system) or comparable front‑office platform.
