Host for Iconic Lake Vessels in Queenstown

About the role

Join RealNZ as a Host aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw and the Spirit of Queenstown, two of the most iconic vessels on Lake Wakatipu. You will be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering food and beverage service and supporting daily vessel operations in a unique tourism environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests boarding the vessels.
• Serve food and drinks in the café, bar, and restaurant areas.
• Support special events and tours on board.
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the vessels.
• Assist with daily operational tasks, including vessel preparation and post‑service clean‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of food and beverage experience, including bar and barista duties.
• Confident, guest‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Team player willing to roll up sleeves and handle a variety of tasks.
• Positive, professional and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $26‑$28 NZD with guaranteed 30 hours per week.
