Home Lending Consultant

About the role

ANZ is hiring a permanent Home Lending Consultant in Tauranga, working 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. The role helps customers achieve their home ownership and financial goals, acting as a trusted advisor for first-home buyers, refinancing, property portfolios and future planning.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customers and understand their goals and circumstances
• Provide tailored lending solutions for home ownership, refinancing and investment opportunities
• Identify opportunities to support customers' broader banking, insurance and financial needs
• Guide customers through the lending process from application to settlement
• Support colleagues with complex customer enquiries and lending conversations
• Build a local community presence and develop new relationships through referrals and networking

Required profile

• Experience building trusted relationships in a customer-focused environment
• Strong home lending knowledge and experience in financial services, preferably retail banking
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information simply
• Proactive approach to growing customer relationships
• Confidence using technology and digital tools to enhance the customer experience
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
