About the role
Carters is looking for an experienced Hiab Driver – Class 4 to join our team in Whanganui Central. You will be responsible for safely delivering building supplies while upholding our reputation on the road.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a Hiab crane to load, unload and place building materials.
- Transport supplies to job sites across the region, adhering to schedules and safety standards.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate any issues promptly.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Hiab driver with a clean driving record.
- Class 4 driver licence held and current.
- Commitment to safety, reliability and professional representation of the company.
Required skills
- Hiab crane operation.
- Class 4 driver licence.
- Basic vehicle maintenance.
