About the role

The Head Teacher will lead the Sunny Days Early Childhood Education & Care Centre in Napier South, delivering high‑quality early childhood education (ECE) and fostering a supportive learning environment. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape the centre’s educational programme and mentor a passionate team of educators.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership for the centre.
• Design, implement and evaluate curriculum aligned with ECE best practices.
• Support and mentor teaching staff, ensuring professional development and certification.
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Oversee health, safety and regulatory compliance.
