About the role

As Head of Infrastructure and Operations at Gallagher, you will lead the teams that keep the company’s technology environment running smoothly across multiple regions. You will shape the next‑generation cloud and infrastructure strategy, driving automation, resilience and service excellence for thousands of employees worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Gallagher’s infrastructure and cloud strategy across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments.
• Lead infrastructure operations to ensure platforms are secure, resilient, scalable and highly available.
• Oversee service management processes including incident, problem, change and release management.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, self‑service portals and modern ITSM practices.
• Manage the service desk and end‑user support to deliver an outstanding employee technology experience.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, cloud modernisation and automation initiatives that reduce complexity.
• Build and mentor high‑performing teams in infrastructure, cloud, operations and workplace technology.
• Partner with technology leaders to align infrastructure with strategic priorities and future growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex technology environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong track record of delivering cloud‑first, automation‑led infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global locations.
• Ability to drive cultural change toward continuous improvement and innovation.
