Head of Capital Insights & Solutions

About the role

The Head of Capital Insights & Solutions leads a small team of corporate finance experts within ANZ's Institutional division. You will drive origination alongside Relationship Managers and Product Partners, develop market‑focused insights, and position ANZ as a trusted advisor to senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Create strategic, insight‑rich content for clients to secure new and added‑value business across capital structuring, funding profiles, ESG financing, and structured products.
• Provide deep qualitative and quantitative analysis for high‑quality pitch presentations.
• Contribute to client account planning and generate proactive, value‑added ideas across industry segments.
• Collaborate with the global Insights team and champion best practices.
• Lead a team of two direct reports, fostering a high‑performing, inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Strong corporate finance analysis and financial modelling expertise.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, performance drivers, and banking products.
• Broad knowledge of global market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and client requests simultaneously.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., CFA, Master of Finance, MBA) is highly regarded.
