Groundworker – Social Housing (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundworker to join our permanent team, supporting social‑housing maintenance and improvement projects across the southern part of the North West of England. This role offers a stable position within a growing organisation that delivers essential works to residential communities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out fencing installations and repairs within social‑housing properties
• Lay and repair flagging and paving
• Undertake basic drainage works and repairs
• Complete general groundwork tasks as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues on site

Required profile

• Proven experience in groundwork, preferably in social‑housing or property maintenance
• Experience with fencing, flagging/paving, and basic drainage works
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
