Graduate Software Engineer Programme

About the role

Serato’s Graduate Programme is designed to develop the next generation of technical leaders for our world‑leading audio software. As a graduate software engineer you will rotate through multiple product teams, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test features for audio, graphics, UI and cloud‑based services.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies and continuous integration pipelines.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects spanning big data, machine learning and hardware integration.
• Document work and share knowledge through mentorship and buddy programmes.

Required profile

• Passion for technology and music.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Currently studying Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with a GPA of 7+.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand and ability to travel to the Auckland HQ regularly.

Required skills

• Familiarity with agile engineering practices.
• Basic understanding of cloud services, big data, machine learning, audio processing, graphics, UI development, hardware integration and eCommerce concepts.
