About the role
Tonkin + Taylor is seeking a motivated final‑year student to join its 2027 Graduate Programme in Environmental Engineering. You will start early 2027 and work on real projects that address environmental challenges across New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with environmental impact and risk assessments.
- Support contaminated land and waste management projects.
- Conduct air, water, and soil quality investigations.
- Contribute to sustainability and environmental compliance work.
- Participate in fieldwork, site investigations and data analysis.
Required profile
- Current final‑year student in BE(Hons) or ME in Civil, Environmental or Natural Resource Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and practical problem‑solving ability.
- GPA of 5 + (or equivalent).
- Involvement in extracurricular activities is a plus.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
