Graduate Audit Programme – Assurance (Christchurch)

About the role

PwC is seeking recent graduates to join its Audit team in Christchurch starting February 2027. As part of the Assurance practice, you will work on audits that provide stakeholders with confidence in financial reporting, while gaining exposure to a variety of high‑profile New Zealand organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and finalising audit engagements for diverse clients.
• Analyse financial statements and identify key risk areas.
• Prepare audit documentation and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Collaborate with clients to gather evidence and resolve audit issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes and PwC audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Recent university graduate with a degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivation to pursue professional qualifications such as CAANZ or CPA.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
