GP Medical Sales Representative - Hamilton/Tauranga

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a GP Sales Representative in New Zealand to promote products in the cardiometabolic space with a global pharmaceutical company. The role covers the Hamilton and Tauranga region and reports to the NZ Sales Manager. The aim is to gain acceptance of the products by key doctors to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Work within a dedicated sales team and manage territory sales and product portfolio
• Build strong business-oriented relationships with customers using targeting and profiling skills
• Develop and deliver a comprehensive territory plan to drive value and growth
• Achieve sales targets and marketing objectives for designated products
• Maintain a high level of product and disease state knowledge

Required profile

• Ideally tertiary qualification in a Science or Business discipline
• Proven track record in sales
• Strong knowledge of the territory; GP sales experience highly regarded
• Self-assured, persuasive, quick-thinking and ethical, able to work in a targeted environment
• Excellent networking skills and strategic focus
