Global Legal Lead - Privacy and Data Enablement

About the role

Gallagher is seeking a Global Legal Lead to drive privacy, data governance and responsible AI across its global technology business. The role sits at the intersection of legal, technology and commercial decision‑making, partnering with product, information services, risk and commercial teams to embed privacy by design.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on privacy, data governance and responsible AI across strategic business initiatives.
• Partner with product teams to embed privacy by design.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies while managing privacy and regulatory risk.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for new or changing uses of information.
• Develop practical governance frameworks and processes that enable innovation and growth.
• Advise on global privacy obligations, market expansion and cross‑border data use.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising on privacy, data protection and responsible AI in a global technology environment.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations and cross‑border data transfer requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, risk and commercial stakeholders to balance innovation and compliance.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to embed privacy considerations early in projects.
