Global Director, Marketing

About the role

This is a nine‑month fixed‑term contract to lead global marketing for Re-Leased, an AI‑driven technology company based in Auckland. Reporting directly to the President, you will inherit an existing FY27 marketing plan and a nine‑person team, and you will be responsible for executing, refining, and preparing the strategy for FY28.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee execution of the FY27 marketing plan, ensuring workstreams stay on budget and meet targets.
• Lead FY28 planning, including budget forecasting, priority setting, and resource allocation across the marketing function.
• Define and maintain brand architecture, naming, and positioning for Re-Leased, Credia, am:pm, and future sub‑brands.
• Provide inclusive leadership to a diverse team covering brand, content, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle, events, and creative.
• Supervise event marketing, demand generation, sales alignment, marketing operations, and reporting.
• Champion AI‑enabled processes and tools to improve team efficiency.
• Represent marketing in company‑wide strategy discussions and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Head of Marketing or Director level, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage annual planning cycles, budgets, and multi‑function resource allocation.
• Track record of building or stewarding brand architecture across multiple products.
• Strong inclusive leadership skills with experience managing specialists in brand, content, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle, and creative.
• Comfort operating at executive level and working independently.
