General Practitioner – Contractor, Part‑time/Full‑time (Wigram, Christchurch)

About the role

1 Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Wigram, Christchurch seeking a contractor General Practitioner. The position can be part‑time or full‑time with flexible session scheduling, starting August 2026 or earlier by agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care consultations and manage patient pathways.
• Optionally develop procedural skills such as skin surgery, IV sedation, women's health, occupational medicine, and aesthetic treatments.
• Collaborate with dental, aesthetics and occupational health teams to deliver integrated care.
• Participate in mentorship, teaching and supervision activities consistent with RNZCGP expectations.
• Contribute ideas for clinic growth, including future site expansion.

Required profile

• Vocationally registered GP or on pathway to Fellowship (GPEP2/3, PGY3+).
• Right to work in New Zealand.
• Passion for multidisciplinary practice and desire for clinical and commercial growth.
• Collegial attitude, appreciation of patient feedback and willingness to contribute ideas.

Required skills

• IV sedation for procedures.
• Point‑of‑care ultrasound (POCUS).
• Skin surgery techniques (flaps/grafts).
• Body composition analysis.
• Aesthetic procedure delivery.
