About the role

We are a long‑standing full‑service law firm in Hawke's Bay looking for solicitors at any level and experienced legal support professionals to join our Property, Litigation, Commercial and Trusts teams. This is an open invitation to discuss where your skills could fit across a range of practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, client‑focused legal advice across property, commercial, litigation and trust matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, conveyancing documents, shareholder agreements and financing arrangements.
• Manage dispute resolution matters, including relationship property, estate and trust disputes.
• Prepare wills, trusts and estate planning documentation.
• Support senior lawyers with research, document preparation and case management.

Required profile

• A New Zealand‑admitted solicitor at any post‑qualification level, or an experienced Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal Executive.
• Practical, client‑focused approach with strong communication and sound judgement.
• Interest in building a long‑term career in Hawke's Bay.
