About the role
We are seeking a motivated Fundraising Coordinator to join our Fundraising & Communications team in Auckland. In this permanent part‑time position (18 hours per week) you will be the first point of contact for supporters, helping to strengthen relationships and coordinate fundraising activities. You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager and other teams to support acquisition, cultivation and retention initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑quality supporter experience that ensures every supporter feels valued and connected to CAP’s mission.
- Manage supporter enquiries, donation processing, acknowledgements and fundraising administration with accuracy.
- Support fundraising campaigns, events, appeals and donor engagement activities to increase participation and giving.
- Maintain accurate supporter records, reporting and database management to inform fundraising decisions.
- Collaborate with fundraising teams to identify opportunities to grow one‑off and regular giving.
Required profile
- People‑oriented with a passion for building relationships and delivering excellent service.
- Proactive, highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Adaptable, self‑driven and motivated by CAP’s mission to help families experiencing financial hardship.
- Strong alignment with CAP’s Christian philosophy, values and culture.
Required skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Solid administration and organisational capabilities.
- Experience in coordination, administration, customer service, fundraising or supporter‑facing roles.
- Confidence using multiple technology systems and databases.
